This History of Universal City, Texas, was written for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the city's incorporation in 1960.
This history was compiled from a review of city council records, city archives, newspapers, interviews, other publications, and the personal memories of the author. Jerry Geyer and Cesilia Huron aided the author in the compilation of this history.
This history is based upon the author's interpretation of the records and does not necessarily reflect the opinion of the City of Universal City. Any errors are solely the responsibility of the author.
