Adjoining our set of three apartments in House 47, was this larger apartment building, House 48.  Many of the families of my friends moved into this building as others departed and the remaining people moved in from surrounding housing areas in Penzing and Landsberg.  It had a huge attic and basement in which we could play, until the parents ran us off for making too much noise.
