This photo, also taken on May 20, 1929, is from a much higher altitude and looks westward across the future Randolph Field. Most of the property seen in the upper third of the photograph will eventually become Universal City. At least six groups of farm buildings in the Universal City area can be seen it this photograph. The short white streak slanting in the upper right corner of the photograph is Selma Road, previously called Edens Road, then Old Selma Road, and finally Kitty Hawk Road. In the upper left is the grid of roads laid out for Airport City. (USAF)
