This photograph, taken from Randolph Field and looking across the railroad tracks, shows two structures mentioned earlier that existed at the time the development of Universal City began. The strange building with a tower at center right is the pump house that raised water up to the storage tank, whose support legs are hidden behind the railroad car at the far right. The two buildings in the distance are the farm structures that existed on what is now West Langley Boulevard. (USAF)
