One of the early entrepreneurs in Universal City after World War II was Claude V. Ivey, here sitting on the bumper of a 1947 Chevrolet. He opened Randolph Field Motors in the 400 Block of Pat Booker Road in 1948, followed by Randolph Field Realty at the same location in the early 1950s. (Mary Sue Ivey McIlvain)
